Alyssa Milano and Wendy Williams Discuss Breastfeeding

May 2024 · 2 minute read

Actress Alyssa Milano was a guest on The Wendy Williams Show, where she talked about weight loss and breastfeeding in public. The latter subject turned into a small discussion when the two women didn’t agree on the matter.

Alyssa Milano is a mother of two young children, aged one and four. In the past couple of years Milano has spoken up about breastfeeding in public because she wants to normalize it. When Wendy Williams said that she did not want to see other women breastfeeding in public, Milano questioned her, “but would you eat under a blanket?” To that Williams responded, “what I would do is I would go to the car – not on the bench in the front of the big box store.”

Society has turned women’s breasts into a sexual thing instead of what they are actually for; feeding babies. Williams claims that breast are actually more sexual rather than serving a feeding purpose, even though, as Milano stated in the interview, they aren’t biologically made for sexual things.

Alyssa Milano also explained how her two children come first to her – no matter what. She said that losing all of the weight she gained during the pregnancy didn’t seem as important as spending time with her children. She told Williams, “I always take my time losing the baby weight because there are so many more important things to be going through.”
