Declan Rice danced with his young nephew on the pitch in jubilant scenes after West Ham won the Europa Conference League.

The Hammers captain led his side to a 2-1 win over Fiorentina in the final in Prague - securing a first major trophy for the east London club since 1980.

For Rice, it was a particularly emotional night as he became the first West Ham skipper to lift a European trophy since Bobby Moore in 1965 in what is likely to be his final appearance for the club.

Clearly enjoying the occasion, the 24-year-old spotted his nephew in the crowd with 'Rice 41' on his back and brought him onto the pitch.

After carrying him on his shoulders, Rice put his nephew in front of the West Ham fans and danced with him in celebration.

Soon joined by the rest of the Hammers' squad and manager David Moyes, it was a particularly heartwarming moment to witness.

It could be one of Rice's final act as a West Ham player with the midfielder widely expected to move on this summer - Arsenal, Manchester United and Bayern Munich all being linked with a move.

On the reports about his future, Rice said: “Look at the moment there’s a lot of speculation about my future. There is interest that’s out there but ultimately I’ve still got two years left at West Ham [one year plus option].

"There hasn’t been nothing yet [offers]. Let’s wait and see, who knows.”

West Ham players and manager David Moyes later danced through the streets of Prague with supporters as they made their way back to their hotel.
