Welcome back to another edition of YouTuber of the Week. From rising stars to long-time celebrated vloggers, we aim to share with you the very best creators that the internet has to offer. Who is Tyler Oakley?

Tyler Oakley is an American YouTuber, podcast personality, author and activist. He joined the video sharing platform on September 18 2007, which means that he recently celebrated TEN YEARS of being on YouTube! With a strong following of almost 7.9 million subscribers, his videos have been viewed over 637 million times.

As well as being a successful YouTuber, his influence has grown beyond the video sharing platform. Tyler is a social advocate who is not afraid to share his beliefs and help to make a change in the world. A long-time supporter of The Trevor Project, a suicide hotline and organization for gay youth, Tyler has raised over one million dollars for the organisation.

Additionally, over the years he has written a best selling memoir called Binge, released a documentary called Snervous, created his own glasses line with Warby Parker, toured across the world, hosted his own talk show on Ellen DeGeneres’ digital network and so much more.
